Semyon Bychkov: The conductor has to be obsessed with his music

Opera PLUS presents a new video interview of conductor Jan Bubák with the music director of the Czech Philharmonic Semyon Byčkov. Both gentlemen talk about what interests them most as conductors. Semyon Byčkov gives an insight into his approach to rehearsals, talks about the musicians of the Czech Philharmonic whom he respects immensely. We recommend the chapter on the infectious enthusiasm for music and also how the public can experience such emotions as the musicians on stage.
