We preset you the premiere of a short documentary about one of the oldest living members of the Czech Philharmonic, the violinist Ivo Krejčí (*1929). His dramatic life story is closely intertwined with the Czech Philharmonic and with many distinguished world-renowned conductors – Rafael Kubelík, Karel Ančerl, Sergiu Celibidache and George Szell.

For the first time, this documentary attempts to reconstruct in detail the story of the mysterious disappearance of Rafael Kubelík’s gift to the players of the Czech Philharmonic behind the Iron Curtain in the summer of 1969. The documentary is presented by maestro Jan Bubák. English subtitles available.
